Great well-built budget e-bike but needs better user instructions
1 of 1 found this helpful The bike was easy to put together and it all works fine. It folds but is bulkier than I expected and is difficult to fit in my small hatchback sedan. A 20" bike would be better but not as good to ride. And it rides really well, is solid and has a 40km+ range. It's too soon to tell whether the motor etc is durable. I have done about 300km so far and the only niggle is that I feel that the motor is a bit noisier than when it was new and one of the pedals is clicking a bit as if the bearing is a bit dubious. Otherwise it's great. Love riding it. Handles all our hills well.
It has five riding modes - no power (fine where there are no hills but at 23kg+, it's hard work to pedal up medium hills, even in the lowest of the seven gear speeds), low, medium and high pedal assist and using the handle bar accelerator where you don't need to pedal. I often use this mode because I can ride without assistance until I need it on the hills and it seems to make the battery last longer.
The instuctions about using the bike are very bad. They are so brief. I discovered how to use it in "motorbike mode" by accident because it wasn't in the instructions.

Quality bike rearview mirror for a good price
I previously bought a cheap Chinese piece mirror which had a distorted reflection and broke irrepairably within days. I was worried about ordering this one but it is great. The image in the stainless steel is clear, not too convex and the mointing is of good quality. i accidently lent it against a wall and it moved out of the way without damage. Great.

Tough, waterproof, secure panniers that'll survive the test of time
These are some of the best panniers on the market. Very strong, totally waterproof and with a rigid back so they can't deform and hit the spokes. They clip to the carrier in three places - two lock around the top bar of the carrier, front and back and the third slides behind the leg lower down. They cannot accidentally fall off, even on rough surfaces, because the spring-loaded clips lock around the bar. You unclip them simply by pulling up on the carry strap which releases the locks - so simple and reliable. The material is extra strong - I have had a set on my commuting bike for about ten years and, though a bit stained and secondhand looking, its clips work just as well as ever and the material is still intact and waterproof. They're not the lightest panniers at ~750g each but they have to be one of the best quality and most reliable. My roll-top bags are much lighter than their flap-close versions, have more capacity and greater flexibility. On the down (see photo) side, they're more difficult and fiddly to open and close,
