Too flimsy to hold firmly in place. Not sufficiently transparent to see detail.. I guess you get what you pay for, but I threw it away.

Great for the price.

Good cheap product to carry around when working with magnetic letters to help children understand synthetic phonics. I keep several in a convenient carrir bag. This is quite a flimsy item, and unsupervised children might damage it quickly, but with care it is very adequate.. The board is backed with cardboard so keep it dry.. The corners eventually work loose and need repair /replacement..

snaps are OK, but pliers no good

The popper parts make 50 pairs of snaps, ie 50 male halves and 50 female halves I found the pliers useless, impossible to line up the front, fabric and ring with any accuracy. It works much better to arrange the layers on a flat surface, with the ring at the bottom, line them up carefully, place an old thread reel on top and hammer the parts together. You can find you-tube videos of this. With a bit of practice, this gives an accurate and strong result. It was my first try at setting snaps. Another time, I will go for a cheaper option without the pliers. These snaps are a good size for baby clothes.
