Useful, handy sized overview for a short holiday in Rhodes
Just returned from a weeks holiday on the Greek Island of Rhodes and found this book a useful little accompaniment. It is split into simple sections as a guide to different parts of the Island such as the "East Coast" and "Rhodes Town", each section giving a nice overview of the history and attractions. It even has a brief section on neighbouring Islands that are accessible from Rhodes.
The handy handbag sized book pretty much gave us what we wanted to know for a weeks holiday but may not be substantial enough for longer, further exploratory stays. For example, more detail on places to eat and maybe some translations on ordering food and drink would be needed as well as further information on getting around.
It would have been useful if there had been prices stated, for example, price of meals and attractions to help with planning, but still remains a useful guide.
