modern quality at vintage price
the bass you can get out of these things is phenomenal, simply put; you could break a door down had you the right amp and direction of speakers.
whilst i specified about the bass, they are very neutral, clear and snappy response, not sterile but definitely clean.
I run a sony ta-v3 with a sony cdp-790 so nothing boutique, also chord cable wires do half the magic i assume.
Variety of albums tested; skinny puppy vivisectVI, pink floyd meddle, swans the great annihilator, bauhaus in the flat field, death leprosy, my bloody valentine loveless, and all sounded utterly fantastic, each sounded unique, its as if the speakers brought out the nuisances and intended mixing from the albums (crazy right????????????)
tldr; very very good quality speakers for the hifi enthusiast

an absolute must have for any floyd fan or general 'smoker'
An exceptional album as expected,
i originally had this on cassette ( a non official cheapy one) and i loved the way welcome to the machine sounded on it but i couldnt help but wonder what the album was supposed to sound like, so i bought the cd.
possibly the best purchase ive made in years, with the right speakers and right ''stuff'' ;) it really fills a room and creates some beautiful imagery, i find this and dark side of the moon are pretty similar but i do prefer this album purely down to preference
