A beautiful heavy 4K gaming beast
8 of 34 found this helpful The 3090 is a powerful card for rendering, encoding, and gaming. Under load the FE can be a bit loud as the fans speed up. But for normal things like gaming and encoding in 4K the fans barely even turn on so that's good. Aside from it being the hottest running card I've ever had it seems to be completely okay with it, and chews through everything I do with ease. It weighs a ton compared to most other cards due to the massive heatsink design, so bracing it should definitely be a consideration in a normal setup. Otherwise it will twist your PCIE slot hard and sag a lot.
