FreeWay Switch Ultra Pre-Wired 3X3-07 Nickel

Keeps your axe intact, increases ergonomics, and does what no other switch does!
Increases your guitar's functionality without adding additional perforations in your guitar or awkward to use push-pull switches. A bit on the pricey side, sure, but nothing else does what this does. This is my second try at a FreeWay 3x3 switch. The first one I got was the "ultra" model. I underestimated the skill needed to solder it up and to figure out the wiring (not using an available wiring diagram). The folks at FreeWay did make a bespoke diagram for me, but for some reason, my wiring job did not turn out as I expected -- this could be because I was too sloppy with the solder on the switch or my pickups are very non-standard (G&B -- Korean brand), I'm not sure. So I've scaled back my function expectations a bit and bought this pre-wired switch so I only have to worry about soldering the pots and jacks. I haven't actually used it yet and I've discovered that I still need to solder some jumpers/bridges on the switch, but that won't be nearly and hairy a job as soldering all the wires and jumpers I had to do on the Ultra.

GOTOH SD91 locking adj. height tuners 6-inline Nickel

Awesome modern features, classic vintage look.
I bought these tuners to replace my stock Fender (Schaller?) tuners that came with my 2006 Fender Custom Shop strat. I was originally going to buy Sperzel locking tuners, because I've had them on other guitars and found them to work well and be very high quality. Then I saw these and decided to give them a try, due the the vintage look -- I had a lot of issues with getting the right conversion bushings to fit my more modern strat -- 9.1mm were too small, 10.5mm were a bit too large. I finally made the 10.5 mm bushings work by carefully opening up the holes a slight bit. The tuners came with two sets of differnt size bushings that no doubt work on most vintage spec headstocks, but if your guitar has more modern (i.e. larger) holes in the headstock, you will need to buy conversion bushings! Drilling new holes for the vintage style mounting screws was a little work as well, but if you are careful, it's very do-able. They look fantastic (like vintage!) and they have drastically improved the tuning stability of my stat. So, while they were not direct drop-in replacements for my guitar, IMHO they worth the effort to get that vintage look with modern functionality of string locking and staggered post heights that you can adjust yourself.
