Great design, sturdy, well-made
Great product. Been on the search for a completely cast iron waffle iron for some time now. This had been listed as backordered on the distributor's website, so stumbling on this was a very pleasant surprise.
Coming pre-seasoned was very nice, it can be a pain to ensure it's fully cleaned/dried, but nothing a cloth with a pair of chopsticks can't cover. It makes a decent size waffle, though i'd love even a ½-inch increase in diameter to make it just a bit bigger, but it's a manageable size for how heavy cast irons can be.
I really enjoy the design. The spill-ring is excellent, you can see the thought that went into enhancing a vintage style. Knowing you can take this camping, bake it in the oven, etc. is immensely reassuring. A great addition to any cast iron collection. Very very happy to finally have one of these.
