Intuit's products require UPGRADES to even file a return
Intuit is a software company that cannot compete with the new products that are far superior to their offerings and they have resorted to marketing ploys that force customers to UPGRADE the Intuit products they buy in order to file a return. In my situation: a $40 UPGRADE would have been needed to get a standard FORM to even file the return. That's right: if I don't get the upgrade, I can't even file my return. Some folks upgraded once only to discover that a second form was needed and yet another upgrade was required. Not I reputable company just cashing in on their name. If you honestly know every form you will be required to file and you can determine exactly WHICH package you will need, you will discover it costs far more than the competition. Intuit expects you don't know exactly what you will need. After all, isn't that why we buy their software in the first place?
