This book is a bargain!
0 of 1 found this helpful The price for this 50th anniversary, gold gilting LOTR volume is a great deal. In fact, it's the lowest I could find. The book is obviously amazing since it's a 50th anniversary one. LOTR is my most favourite book of all times (I'm a huge Tolkien fan) so of course I'd buy this. I recommend this to all true Tolkien fans. It's a great way to give this book to your children. They will be introduced to a world of pure literary magic in a beautiful luxurious volume. The book contains two folded maps at the beginning and the end as well as 2 photos from the Book of Mazarbul. It's hardback but it's so soft to the touch. Perfect edition all around, especially with the embossed gold and copper and the beautiful Tolkien signature at the back.
