Seems to work really well
I've been looking for a battery charger for some time but could not justify spending £60 + on some of the premium brands so I went for this unit based on it's features, cost and the reviews on various sites all look favourable. So far I've used it on my BMW 330i and TVR400 as both had flat batteries and the unit charged them both without an issue. The LED display is useful as it shows the battery terminal voltage, current output and a % charged indicator (which I assume is based on the terminal voltage rather than the current absorbed by the battery)
My only concern was leaving the unit connected for extended periods as this was not mentioned in any of the documentation, however in practice the unit once it completes the charge cycle it does detect a drop in the battery voltage and switch back to charge mode so while not a dedicated trickle charger it will automatically top up the attached battery.

Replaced a pair of rubber ones without any issues
Cant comment on lifetime as only fitted a month, but look to be of higher quality than rubber.

Single remote solution for complex AV setup
Using a single remote to control our TV, Humax box, PS3 & Amazon stick greatly simplifies our AV system, my wife is much happier now we have a single remote. The Harmony Hub also overcomes the line of sight issues we previously had with IR remotes. Placing the Harmony hub took a little fine tuning, programming was relatively straightforward using the Harmony app. The app is also good as it means you no longer have the keep the original remotes to had for setup adjustments as the app includes every remote function possible. My only complaint would be the lack of support for Hive, having already invested in Hive heating and half a dozen Hive light bulbs it would be nice to use the Harmony remote to control these as well.
