lovely, sturdy, effective tool.
I tested it on three year old, bone-dry black walnuts, so it took me a few tries to crack them "just right" rather than shattering them--but was effortless, easy to modulate pressure, and it accepted nuts of different sizes very easily. So glad I splurged on the "real thing"! I collected and hulled several hundred black walnuts last week, and am looking forward to using the nutcracker a lot more in the coming months, once they're cured / dried. Excellent product.

Works well, companionable, not very powerful
Very good at recognizing edges, jumping door sills, and navigating complex layouts. Sort of by definition, it can't really clean corners to the edges, nor does it deep-clean. Very good for keeping the cat hair under control if used a couple of times a week, allowing "real" vacuuming or mopping to be done less frequently. Has coped surprisingly well with spider webs, sawdust, plaster crumbles. Can't suck up full-size rubber bands, flat items like mini post-its, but it does whirl them out onto clean floor, where they are easy to pick up. Maybe they'll make a version with an optional top whirly-bit, to clean a bit higher up baseboards and the underside/overhang of kitchen cabinets. Best feature is that, for heavy cleaning, it keeps you company while you shift boxes and furniture out of the way, and if you knock dust onto the floor, you know it'll come and get it. Not as efficient as working with a friend, but because it's a robot, you don't blame it for inefficiencies.
