Tales From the Farm by the Yorkshire Shepherdess By Amanda Owen

Like James Herriott with the emphasis being on family life on the farm.

Reading books over the last 12 months or so written by Amanda Owen has been an uplifting and healing experience. Her open and direct style writing about her and her family's life in an area I lived in during my childhood has been an absolute tonic bringing back memories of family holidays as a child.

A classic film from the sixties .

A brilliant film An iconic reminder of what appealed in the sixties. As to the quality of the DVD itself, I do wonder whether it has previously been heavily used as the sound quality was a little disappointing .
