We like it. We like it a lot.
I had a cheap Aldi version that boiled water like an electric shower. You pressed go and it heated the water oven an element instantaneously. Fine but not very fast, you had to stand over it and it wasn't truly hot enough. I took the plunge and bought this. Not used the kettle since. It's slightly different and it's important to know that it still boils like a kettle but only the amount that you dial in. It then dispenses it into the cup. Not as fast as a ZIP tap but they're £1500
We've no no taste issues or other problems. There is a slight weep from behind the water jug at times but I suspect that this is when you push the jug back onto the connector after filling. Other than that, we don't have to argue any more over who forgot to fill the kettle!

Super bit of kit.
What a fantastic bit of kit. I looked around for ages at these, reading the reviews, watching You Tube etc and finally bit the bullet. It's nicely packaged and good quality. I did replace a couple of bits here and there but just screws and clips and such like. I built mine into a flight case so it's portable for use with ground tents and my workshop. On full you cannot hold your hand in front of the vent. It's incredible. On the lowest setting it's just enough to air things through and perhaps dry things out without damaging them. Built into a van it would be superb. You could run it all night. It's really not noisy and whilst the pump does click, click, click, you could insulate it some more and it's pretty rhythmic so not a real disturbance. There is actually a popular 'social media' forum dedicated to these heaters.
