Although dated, an epic film based on a true story
Although this much "decorated with awards" film shows it's age because of so many technical advances in the ensuing years to date, it still is a quality presentation. Films that are based on true stories provide a window into our human family and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. The soundtrack is beautiful. I don't think the film shows it off that well. I highly recommend the soundtrack!

One of the finest films with depth and dignity
This story---based on actual events---should be seen by everyone interested in the dignity of the human person. I believe the film to be unique in it's exploration of motherhood.

Good shape, timing, and value with a fascinating topic.
The disc was in good shape and arrived in good time. The story is quite fascinating. It was an affordable value.
