If u saw the Wire & the Corner this is how they began. Love it
The characters Pembleton & Munch esp stand out in this stand-out series... Made by orig Law&Order chappie there are several episodes with L&O tie-ins. I prefer this, the characters aren't always likeable but are always interesting..fun to see some actors in this (& the Corner) who starred in the later superb Wire. More accurate than most cop/crime TV even today (tho "the Box" is praps a tad OTT!!! still fun tho). Cast/ensemble retain their credulity throughout the series, it ends properly but I reckon it would easily have merited another season. David Simon etc superb, love their Baltimore "trilogy". 5Baas awarded by this Shepherd 🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑

Fabulous
It's beautiful! This is the origin of the medieval "Gregorian" liturgical "song"/music...It's of the origins of Coptic/Egyptian Christian worship of the Desert Father's that the later Benedictine/Roman Catholic Monastic Church adopted from the earlier Coptic-to-E.Orthodox-Celtic Christian music. Wondrous & you're hearing the final audible language of Pharonic Egypt. Play loud..

The original & best.
Haunting, disturbing, Murnau's utterly superb Opus & first controversial interpretation of Dracula: thank God that like the Vampire the one copy survived Mrs Stoker's (understandable) iconoclastic purge! Has benefit of extras docs too... Max Shrek is undoubtedly the most memorable vampire depiction of all time... It haunts u long past daybreak.... The sequences with deliberately sped-up footage is to today's eyes comical but for its time was used demonstrate the preternatural powers of the vampire. Nosferatu is a Nosferatu & it is not the name the vampire had in life.
