Big, but fantastic projector
This projector is quite large and heavy, but honestly, it's worth every pound and square inch. I tried using smaller, 'portable' projectors, but they were constantly malfunctioning and were never quite bright enough for use in a lighted room. I priced new, high end portable projectors, but they were well out of my budget. I selected this projector based on customer reviews, the Mitsubishi name, and the fact that in recent years they sold for over $3K brand new. It's a beast to carry to my teaching jobs, but I carry it in a large, padded container that I strap to a rolling cart, so it's not too bad. The thing is, it's awesome. It is bright, quiet, easy to use, focuses like a dream, and has a zoom feature that allows for the image size to be adjusted. My students love it more than I do because they can actually SEE the image. So, if you don't mind the size and weight of this projector, it's a great buy on a fantastic piece of equipment.
