'A Possession On Elm Street'
Easily the least enjoyable out of the original 6 movies. I say this because of the lack of Freddy for one, and the fact he possesses the new kid on the block rather than spreading the fear so he can invade dreams. While possession is a fresh concept, I preferred Freddy as the dream invading boogeyman. 'Freddy's Revenge' does have some similarities to the first movie, he's dark, twisted and the film itself is easier to take in than the next in line movies, such as 'Dream Warriors' where Freddy is slowly evolving into a comedian and things seem very far fetched. However, the lack of Freddy and the damsel in distress scream of the protagonist every 5 minutes (seriously, at the start of the movie I thought Jesse was a girl) spoiled the movie for me. I won't give to much away for those who have yet to watch it, give it a go, you may like it! It's not a terrible film, just not the best Nightmare on Elm Street. If your a Krueger fan, you'll enjoy it maybe with a hint of disappointment, if it's your first time watching, don't worry, the franchise does get better!
