Streets of Fire soundtrack.
2 of 2 found this helpful It's a cool movie, a lot of fun. It's cool to see Diane Lane when she was young. The music in the film was cool too. Especially the first track that they open the film with "Nowhere Fast." It rocks from the start and sets the film off rolling. The best songs on the soundtrack are: "Nowhere fast", "Sorcerer", "Tonight is what it means to be Young", "I Can Dream About You", and "Never be You". The songs on the album like "One Bad Stud" and "Blue Shadows" are just filler but the great songs on the Cd make it well worth it especially if its for just $7 or so including shipping.

Overall Review of The White Album Is good but uneven.
5 of 10 found this helpful Some people say that Ths Beatles White album is their best album. I don't agree. Their producer, George Martin, does not agree. I think that probably their best overall album is "Revolver." But having said that are there some great songs on The White Album? Yes, A ton of them. The album overall has about 24 songs on it, it is their only double album. The work is all over the place. The biggest knock on the White Album legitimately is that is has no focus. There is no cohesion here like they had on Sgt.Pepper. You get the feeling from listening to it that all four members of the band were all just working apart from each other making music and then at the end they just threw all their songs together and piled it on to this album. It is long and winding. Out of the 24 songs on it I would say about 16 or 17 of them are good. The highlights for me? Songs like "Dear Prudence", "Glass Onion", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "I'm so tired", "Sexy Sadie." The weaker songs? "Good Night", "Revolution 9", which is very weird, And "Piggies."

Cloud Nine Review
George Harrison once called himself the economy sized Beatle. He was just beginning to enter a real genious phase when the Beatles broke up. If i remember right his last two compositions as a Beatle were "Here Comes The Sun" and "Something" for the Abbey Road Album. Those may be his two best songs arguably and John Lennon once said he thought they were the two best songs on that album. I have never been much of a fan of any of the Beatles solo careers but I wanted to get cloud nine because i love the song "When we was fab." It was about the Beatles and I love The Beatles. I really have no real interest in any other stuff on the record but i will listen to it. I have heard "I got my mind set on you" but I am not a big fan of it. It's O.K. but its not that great. I came across a used cassette of the album for almost no money so I decided to buy it. It's about 12 songs for about 3 bucks total so why not?
