Just tests if your line has dial tone. Manual not helpful. No support
I bought this tester to make basic telephone line testing without investing in a fancy buttset.
I could say it can help to test the line working but nothing else, exactly the same thing that if you use a cheap corded phone to test if you have dial tone.
The "manual" for the most part is really hard to understand.
I tested it at home and found some weird readings like "bad insulation" even when my phones and jacks are working fine, now I don't know if there is really something wrong with my line or with the tester.
The product does not have the P/T button mentioned in the mamual.
I did not like it. Maybe having a good manual would help.

Just as expected
Excellent product, very good price
