Works flawlessly with 1-10v rated dimmable bay lights
These work great. I’ve upgraded my whole house to Lutron Caseta dimmers and switches. Upgrading garage lighting was the last step. I’ve got 12’ ceilings and 100w bulbs just aren’t enough light for project work. Today’s high output LED bay lights are great, but I don’t always need 200w of brightness. That’s where this Lutron module comes in. It’s got switched power to the load (light) which allows full dimming all the way to off. For my application, I replaced three porcelain light sockets in the ceiling with similar style that includes a grounded receptacle - $10 each. I used non-conducting plastic junction boxes for each light and plastic compression fittings for the cords. Each light has its own Lutron control module, all programmed to the same Pico remote. Now, I’ve got full dimming across all lights together. I left the main light switch for easy off/on. The Lutron modules retain last light setting when turning on, so rarely need to adjust dimming. I couldn’t be happier with this setup.
