Starting with the positives, this book opens up a lot of walks that i would never have otherwise known of. The majority of walks are in great locations and really demonstrate the diversity of Norfolks landscapes and nature. We have seen so much wildlife and very rarely see more than a few other people on the walks.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the book desperately needs updating in some areas, but in others are just plain wrong. We’ve had an instruction to turn left when the map ( and path clearly shows a right turn), we’ve had signs from farmers saying “ignore the book, go back and turn right”, as well as street names being incorrect or non existent. The sheringham/beeston regis walk would be a good example, where the walk is claimed to be 5 miles and actually ends up being 8! Some of the sections are really detailed unnecessarily and others are too vague where more detail is required. Despite this i would recommend the book as we have enjoyed doing the walks, but you have to use a lot of your own initiative ( and google maps). Use the book as a starting point/ rough guide rather than a comprehensive guide. If a new version with updates where released i would be happy to purchase again.
