A special treat at back yard parties and camping!
Any complete lantern is worth it's weight in gold! If they work, that's just icing on the cake. If they don't, they're easy enough to break down and clean and make work again. It's a special joy and a reward to pressurize them, hear the tell-tale sounds and light them up, watching them do what they were designed to do. In this world of technology, these lanterns are the epitome of nostalgia. Thanks again!!

Tradition
I have found the value in clip-on mantles, but I will always use the string tie upon replacement. They provide a better fit at the attachment point, in my opinion.
