Mixed up
The story line is often hard to follow, as is the dialogue. You don't often hear the word sentient used in real life but here it is used a lot. Nevertheless the series is riveting viewing if only to find out the next twist. You are often left thinking what just happened there as characters become not who you thought they were.
The violence and the killing is a bit gratuitous and often 'overkill' and seeming unnecessary to the story, unless you are in to that sort of thing.
Overall I was left feeling that I really couldn't be bothered wasting time watching a second series.

Something missing from The Missing Link
Animated films are of such a high standerd these days that one only expects the best and this animation did not quite do it for me.
The story line was less imaginative than I had expected. The dialogue was often poor and derivative. The animation especially the drawing of the characters I found jarring. Overall I could only rate it as average and not something I could whole heartedly recommend to others.
