Stll Ramblin Jack At 90 by samuraitim09
I was familiar with most of this CD from a DVD of Jack's that I already have: "The Ballad Of Ramblin Jack." Both are great but the CD is all music!
I met Jack in the 1980's at Key Largo in Portland, Oregon where we talked for along time. Yes, he rambles.
The songs on here are really a great choice too.
He still has it and will be 90 in August. Get one, you wont be sorry.

Just Started It But Should Be Good?
Love Sam Peckinpah films since I was 14 or so. Now 62. I look forward to reading about such things as the bridge with the trap door in The Wild Bunch. I have had other books on Sam and enjoyed
reading all of them...he was one of a kind.
Checkout his cameo in Pat Garrett building a coffin while cussing out Garrett the Sheriff before he shoots Billy The Kid. (Kristofferson).

I Wish I Woulda Booked This into The Theater in 1993
Altman's masterpiece in my opinion, greatly helped by Leonard Cohen's great soundtrack which acts as more of a soundscape than anything. They do not make films in America or Canada like this anymore so we must appreciate what we have from the past. Warren Beatty & Julie Christie. -Samuraitim
