electriQ 8 litre Fast-Dry Desiccant Dehumidifier with Air Purifier for 2- EDD8L

Fresher house.

I've used EDD8L for a week now and it has taken the full 5 litres claimed out of the house every day (35 litres total). If you used the machine in the bedroom during the night it is a little noisy even on the quietest setting but during the day you get used to the noise if you place it correctly for your situation. It is very compact for such an effective machine. I used Ebac dehumidifiers years ago and was not impressed by them, but comparing this electriQ machine to the ebac the difference is night and day, the house smells far fresher, less dusty, and there is no or very little condensation on the windows compared to before. The dehumidifier has run constantly ( apart from emptying it and moving it ) for the seven days but I expect it to run less after it has removed the surplus damp from the house. I live in an old large farmhouse dating back to the 18th century and it certainly has improved the the living environment. I have still to find out the running cost of the dehumidifier, but so far I am impressed with this machine.
