Sneaker Pimps - Bloodsport (CD 2002)
2 of 2 found this helpful The CD is well crafted and sounds equally as brilliant on headphones as it does on speaker. On speakers the sound travels from ear to ear for certain instruments that sneakerpimps have selected, and this has a really good feel to it.
This album is also very successful because Chris Corner is the vocalist on it. His voice is alot more versatile and pleasant to listen to than that of the female singer.
Each track bleeds into the next, the order of the songs was well devised and each track is distinctive, though sneakerpimps certainly have their trademark style on all of them. The songs could never be dated, they are very advanced compared to other releases at the time.
Enjoy

Dark Vibes
1 of 1 found this helpful ONLY BUY THE 1996 RELEASE, as the tracks are mastered differently and this is the ultimate version.
This album has a beautiful sence of tranquility while having a youthful angst and strong sense of its own presence. Quite a few of the songs sound a little unusual and slow for the first 20 seconds, but really, these tracks are works of art and once you know what they're all about you'll be a junkie for this album.

Not for fans of the Sneakerpimps
Kelli Ali, formerly Kelli Dayton is the singer for the Sneakerpimp's first album. This album in comparison has zero depth in its lyrics, the medolies are uninventive and often follow the music too closely. The music itself is pleasant and at times is quite good, but without the direction of what the Sneakerpimps stand for, Kelli Ali has fallen flat. Her voice is better suited to ambient music, none fo the tracks are perticularly favourable, or rememberable, and you are garaunteed to think "god did she just sing that" because the subject matter is seemingly straight from a 13 year old's diary.
