Good quality and good value

This was difficult to find in a local store - just made it so easy buying it online. It arrived in good time and glue and rope have done the trick and made my stove door fit snugly again.

Bit boring really

I bought this book as I was going to see John Challis in his show. Both book and show were a tad boring. It's a bit of a list of the productions he has been in, the theatres he has acted in and not told in a particularly entertaining way. I was expecting more somehow. At least the book mentioned his various, varied and numerous amorous encounters. His show steered well clear of those.

A great book about a wonderful old manor house

This lovely manor house is just down the road from me and I spent a very pleasant afternoon exploring it. I wanted to read the book, copies of which were held by the National Trust guides who were in most rooms in the property. It was on sale in the on site shop - but I thought I would take a look on eBay, and was lucky to find a copy at a really good price. It arrived quickly and sits on my coffee table so that I can dip in and out of it as I please. When I next visit Avebury Manor I shall be far better informed and will get even more out of my visit.
