It works well
Once assembled this works very well and makes a good positive connection that stays in my guitar until I press the release button on the guitar.
Mine did not come with any instructions but I had already looked online to see how to assemble it from the Neutrik UK website
I bought the most basic Cat5 cable I could find but still had to cut some of the boot around the RJ45 plug off to enable it to fit into the internal collet/bush. I am not sure if the one I bought was an older or newer version as some of the components looked a little different but it still went together fairly easily.
I bought this to make a lead to connect my Line 6 Variax 600 guitar to a line 6 USB interface that needed an etherCON connecter to fit into my guitar on one end and a standard RJ45 to fit into the USB interface. The price of a ready made 3 metre cable would have been around £15 and upwards, a standard 3 metre Cat 5 cable and this connector carrier cost me just under £6 delivered so it was good value.

Not as described
Although it claims to be USB 3 it is only USB 2 and it is slow even for a USB 2 drive.
It took over 35 minutes to transfer a 640mb file via a USB 3 port on an i5 based desktop PC.
