A 19th century introduction to what became the mystery-thriller.
Wilkie Collins virtually invented the modern mystery-thriller in the mid-19th century with this book and the somewhat more famous "The Moonstone". These novels led to Conan-Doyle and Sherlock Holmes. While this book is too long ,in view of 20th century editing, it is still worth reading by any devotee of mystery and suspense. I read it after watching the BBC adaptation, which edits certain events in a more modern way, such as (spoiler follows) -- the death of the count,-- but keeps the major plot lines intact. Be patient and you will be rewarded.

Very comfortable. Doesn't stay up.
. Wood beaded car seat cushions are very comfortable. They are cool in summer and warm in winter. They massage your back. They are hard to find offline. This one is all of these. It also doesn't stay up, and there are no ties at the top to tie it to the headrest. I use it doubled over in the seat. It is perfectly fine this way. If you are thinking about buying one, give it a try!

A great cheer-you-up movie
