Superb british film,with strong cast and memorable performances.
I must admit to buying this film as a huge Jennifer Jones fan,it has quickly turned into one of my favourite films.She plays a gypsy girl as wild as the landscape around her.She believes in the old ways,superstition and the like and she finds a baby fox which she takes into her care as it's parents were likely killed by the local huntsmen.She knows little in the ways of men which eventually becomes her downfall.The term "gone to earth" is a call used by huntsmen when a fox goes underground and escapes.I would highly recommend this film,beautiful surroundings and the stunning Jennifer Jones.

Slow build up climatic finish.
The stories in the build up to the ending are very entertaining particularly Kirsten Dunst,the finale is both scary and amazing 10/10.

A real animal was used which only enhances the scariness for the viewer
Keeps you on edge throughout the film,excellant film.
