Good drills work well
I used them on wood and metal didn't have any problems but be sensible .
I think there well worth it.

Used for mainly screwing in decking
1 of 2 found this helpful This drill works very well, I've put thousands of screws in decking, it get quite warm at the back of the drill, the hammer switch to normal is a bit flimsey and moves a bit but don't cause a problem, the cord by the plug split and I cut the plug of and replaced it, it also gave me a chance to extend the cable, but it's a drill with a screwdriver function, not a screwdriver, I would recommend it to anyone, it's done well, when I say thousands of screws I mean 5000 plus and still going.
This is a honest review, as a drill it works well and I've drilled with hammer to be honest it's ok 👍, you won't be disappointed, well I ain't .
