Good power laser!

I like it. There's two separate laser outputs - a red around 650nm and a green at 532m. They go through the same removeable diffraction grating to produce the dot pattern you see in the pictures. Note - the red and green laser beams do not travel the same direction. The red points up away from the green, so you need to move the pointer a little when pointing at the same object with the two different colors. Lastly - the device is controlled with one button - it cycles between off, red, green, red and green flashing.

Great unit at great price.

This is a fantastic product - it's working great, and the packing was superb. (I was worried about the band-pass mirrors in the post.) The unit came pre-calibrated to produce a white laser dot, and the cables already wired up to the relevant plugs on the board. The laser unit is especially nice, rather than raw CNC milled aluminium it's a properly moulded and black painted unit that reduces reflections. The band-pass mirrors are aligned well over 50 feet. (It could be more but I ran out of space!) If you under-power the unit, the green dims first, then blue and finally red. So if your white dot has a color cast, check you are supplying half an amp at 12v. Great unit!

Nice box that provides power stabily.

I've been using it a while now, and it's been working great! It's not too heavy, and the box has lots of space inside so that the inbuilt fan keeps the components nice and cool. Overheating wont be a problem! One thing to watch though - low voltage circuits may not like the little voltage spike when the unit is first turned on, so ensure they're disconnected before hitting the power switch. It only happens when it's turned on though. I'll certainly buy another one in the future if I need a supply like it.
