The LG is a beast!
1 of 1 found this helpful When I purchased I really wanted the LG as it is one of the largest portable air conditioners made AND it has an inverter which will save me in energy costs. Previously I had a generic type 8,000 btu. The LG is not really any louder than the smaller one. It's in my living room ans I expect an air conditioner to have noise so it doesn't bother me at all. The LG is fantastic though! The air that comes out is super icy and the vent moves up and down which I think helps to more thoroughly cool the room. Skip all other brands and just buy this one.
