A Leightweight and easy to handle cordless strimmer.
This was purchased to replace a broken STB3620L strimmer. It is easier to hold and operate thanks to the angled grip and is lightweight and well balanced with battery attached.
The power levels are easy to adjust on the go with a thumb operated wheel but the lower levels are not much good fir than than light weeds. Half way gives decent results for most jobs like normal grass and nettles type weed. Full power will get through some tougher stuff but the batteries will go down fast (5 to 10 mins rather than 20 to 30).
If you have any patches of tough grass or vine like growth then this just can't handle it from any angle but then it isn't a brush cutter.
The older unit it replaced was more capable but harder to control but was also less reliable. Hopefully this will last more than a few uses a year but for £60 and to make use of some good batteries Iit was wotrh a try.

Excxellent value
These fit any of the 4000 series Thermoscan too and are much better value than you find buying on the high street or in smaller pack multibuys. We have bben buying them for several years and never had any problems.
