Excellent model
Having seen the real thing at the NRM it is very realistic and handsome in its livery. It runs well and smoothly both forward and in reverse.
I am very pleased with this model and would recommend it.

realistic and sturdy
They look quite realistic particularly when put in small groups. I like to add variety by painting some trees with acrylic paint mixed myself consisting of different shades of green or even pale yellow for new leaf on the ends of branches -also the tree trunks which are rarely brown colour.
The trees are quite rigid in shape and I suppose could be trimmed for extra variety. They are not attractive for mice to eat!

The best first aid for an apparently dead pond
Our small pond looked terrible after the winter. The water was murky and full of blanket weed and apparently dead stems of water weed. I thought I'd have to bale out the muck from the bottom and start again from scratch. Then I saw the Blagdon pond tablets and thought that I'd give them a go first. I'm so pleased that I did as now the pond is much clearer, the water lily is doing better than ever and the water weed has made a surprising come-back. The tablets seem to have done a terrific job of resurrecting what looked like a dead pond.
