USB C to Magsafe2 Adapter Magnetic T-Tip/L-Tip Converter for Macbook Pro AC1407

Works with my old Apple 27" Cinema Display to power my MacBook Pro 2018 13" model.

I have a 27 inch Apple Cinema Display that I used to plug into an old MacBook Pro - the one with the older Magsafe 1 connection. I then upgraded to a 2011 MacBook Air which had a Magsafe 2 connection. At that time I cut of the Magsafe 1 connection and soldered it to a MagSafe 2 connector cable. Now I have the 2018 MacBook Pro 13" model This adapter connected magnetically to the Magsafe 2 connecter and the other end plugged into my usb-c port. It started charging straight away once I heard the familiar beep. The power adapter for the MacBook Pro is a Apple 61W USB-C Power Adapter The spec if this adapter is: Input: 45W / 60W / 85W Magsafe 2 power adapter Output: 20V/3A 60W, 14.5V/3.25A 45W, 14.5V/2A 29W, 9V/2A 18W, 5V/2.4A 12W So it was a gamble that it would work. So happy it did.
