  The seatpost had carbon paste on it from where it had been fitted, and when this was wiped off it revealed an area of lacquer missing from the front of the post, about 2 sq cm. This had not been mentioned nor pictured in the listing. The listing only had two pics of the back of the post, condition described as 'good'. I contacted the seller to request a return, he denied there was any missing lacquer and ignored further attempts to resolve. Referring the case to ebay. Caveat emptor.
