A wieldy and nicely weighted Axe
1 of 1 found this helpful First used to cut small logs with ease.
I used it to cut out some sections of a walnut log.. Thereby requiring more precision than power.. It felt like a suitable tool for the job.. I ought to of used a chisel and mallet but I wanted to see how the exe would do: 'Well' is the answer. The blade cover is a good addition and is made to last. I wanted this so I can have it stowed anywhere in my van or home and know that it's not going to do anyone a mischief. Also gives me confidence my son can fit the cover, walk around safely with it. He's at an age where learning to use an axe safely is a valuable lesson. This Axe is ideal for all of the above

Also noticed how much less 'chemically' it smelt too, compared to the last time I bought some -3+ years ago.
I put it on myslef and my 11 year old son and was absolutely fine, walked along a river meadow for 4hrs+ in the sun and didnt get a single unwanted visitor. Perfect
