The definitive electric kettle
This is an excellent model. I have used one for over 10 years. Occasionally, it needs to be cleaned to get rid of limescale. That is not the kettle's fault. I just put in some citric acid powder and boil a kettle-full of water and then rinse. There seem to be some trolls in this review section. You always get them. It is great that the lid can be taken off, and it is dead easy to do so. The models with a non-removeable lid are a bit awkward to use. My daughter had one and its mechanism caused the kettle to fail. I removed the screws holding the lid in place and now that kettle is back in service. The models with the removable lid and the grip on it are the best ones. These go for £17.00 at Lidl's every autumn, under the heading "Back To College". That is the time to get them. Don't pay £32 or similar. Lidl's promotion also includes their excellent toaster, for the same price.

These CDRs are fine. No problem. Ignore the trolls who say that they are bad.

Best quickvac I have ever seen
This is an excellent quickvac. It is easy to use, and, rather than one having to plug in the charger by pushing a plug into the vac, it has a charging "dock" on which it rests. This can be left on the floor, or wall mounted. The vac is easy to empty, and has a transparent "tank", so that you can see how much dirt is in it - a nice feature that I have never seen before. Two extra attachments are available: a crevice tool and a brush tool. These can be obtained in the U.K. from mtmc d0t c0 d0t uk for peanuts. This vac also picks up liquids. Recommended.
