A must for your DX lens arsenal
3 of 4 found this helpful It has no noticeable color aberration, very slight vignetting at the long range and seemingly no distortion. Provides excellent bokeh for portrait shots and is great for landscape photography. Focusing is very quiet and very very fast. Build quality is excellent. VR II seems to handle low light, handheld situations very well and outdoor long range shots, with slightly visible blurring of details, apparent during post processing. Minimum distance focusing at 1.1 meters is a bit aggravating though for some situations. Obviously, not a macrophotography lens. Very compact lens for the focal length it provides. A must for your lens arsenal if you own an APS-C Nikon camera.

A must in your lens arsenal!
This lens is fast focusing, sharp and light. Color rendition is superb! Highly recommended. Immediately after unboxing I took one of my favorite landscape shots.
