RONSEAL CHALKY FURNITURE PAINT
I really love this paint. I'd tried other chalk finish paints to give a shabby-chic look to old pine furniture, but just could not get the finish I wanted. The other paint would dry very quickly - so needed thinning, you couldn't go over a part already painted as there would be dragging. Using that paint was hard work and very frustrating and that was without the varnishing afterwards. I then found Ronseal Chalky Furniture matt finish paint that didn't need thinning and didn't need a varnish afterwards. The paint has a lovely, smooth consistency and delivers the finish I want. A little goes a long way and if I go over a patch already painted, there's no problem. I now use it for all my up-cycling work. I only wish I'd found it first time around.

Very strong magnets for a variety of projects
1 of 1 found this helpful These magnets are really powerful. I could hardly pull the units apart. I ordered them to 'pull in' the bottom of a light wood wardrobe door that had been warped by poor workmen.
I underestimated how powerful the magnets would be and ordered two, but only used one, plus one of a weaker strength. The door closes properly now. If I'd used two, I think I'd be battling to open the door.
