Bigger is better.
Not everyone likes the size- I do. Building a system and adding 10 hard drives is cake when you have room to work and run cables. Easy to create an effective cooling air pattern. I use my three builds on this platform for commercial media production. A lot of music composing and video editing. I still have four additional large and mid towers, but the x9 size makes it easy to work on when I need to add or remove components unlike the smaller cases.

A good solution for remote quarter inch audio feeds
I needed to run audio from set of keyboards to a set of inputs. Eight thirty foot cables worked fine but added to the spaghetti of cables. This is an effective solution. I wonder if there is a MIDI equivalent, because that would be handy too.
