Flush Ring Pull 44mm x 62mm Satin Stainless Steel
14 Jan, 2020
Excellent Quality for the price.
Good price and delivered fast. If I was being really picky then the cast edge of the ring is a little ‘sharp’ for my delicate fingers but two minutes with a Dremel or a fine file takes the edge off leaving a smooth and high quality feel to it. Worth the extra effort.
Bluespot Mini Touch Up HVLP Gravity Feed Spray Gun 125ml Cup With 0.8mm Nozzle

Ridiculous value for money
Perfectly decent spray gun for occasional use and if you check on YouTube you’ll see pros getting decent results with the same. Bought it to spray a one-off job where I couldn’t be bothered to mix up tiny amounts for my big spray guns. Sprayed etch primer absolutely fine. Decent pattern. Of course you won’t get the fine adjustment and control of a decent gun but then nor are you paying £500 for it. Recommended pressure of 43psi seemed way too high with lots of overspray. Much better at about 28psi at least with my set-up. I suspect the quality control is such that you’ll need to play with it a bit to see what works for your specific gun. Can’t fault it for the money.

The Pointsman - 235mm - Hawk, Brick Pointing, Pointing Trowel
14 Dec, 2020
Brilliant.
Was looking for a pointing hawk. Oddly they seem few and far between. Found this and it seemed expensive, but not dramatically more than a ‘regular’ hawk so went for one anyway. Now I’m absolutely NOT a pro bricklayer. But I have to lay bricks for a living building patios, garden walls and wood fired ovens. Up til now I’d done most of my pointing with one of those mortar guns. Quick but messy, blocks all the time and because it needs to go on so wet to pass through the gun, a long time waiting to tool. Sometimes not even the same day in cooler weather. (And I look like a rank amateur using one) This pointsman hawk was a revelation. Really shouldn’t make much difference to say using a trowel, but somehow it does. Angle of the handle is perfect, size is bang on for my needs and it’s just so easy to work from. Angle even allowed me to get down as low as the first course without losing it all over the floor. Couldn’t be happier with it. Proper ‘dry’ pointing for me from now on. 👍 If I had any ‘complaints’ I’d suggest a handle that didn’t look like something I’ve robbed from the wife’s bedside cabinet. My 16 year old daughter thought it was hilarious when it arrived and sent photos to all her mates questioning what the hell I’d been buying. 😂 Wasn’t even much slower than the mortar gun. Pointed most of the wood-fired oven in the pic over the course of just over a day and no need to return the following day to tool it. Was dry enough to brush off and clean super-fast.
