Out of the box and connected to test via Bluetooth in seconds! Very impressive sound quality and volume for a 2.5"x2.5"x21" box (in my 52 year-old opinion and experience with generations of Klipsch, Boss, Sony, Technics, Yamaha, etc. sound systems). Yeah it's no match for an old bad-ass high-power Klipschorn system. (That takes up a lot more space, costs 20x more and doesn't have two simultaneous Bluetooth connections and an optical input). Remote operates Roku TV, Concast cable box and older Technics amp very well.
Have seen some negative reviews about this system and am happy to say that none of the issues apply to me. So far I love this little box! Haven't even turned on my amp since hooking this thing up (just one optical audio cable to TV, that's all I needed... and it came in box) Thanks again Bose! Best 100 bucks I've spent in a long time...
