Great recipes

Great recipes that are easy to follow. Richard was a fan favorite in his season of the Great British Bake Off, and he introduces each recipe with a little story and some wit. There are lots of pictures of each recipe, and some tutorial pictures as well. The book I purchased was used, but looked brand new, and was well worth the value.

Outlaw Demon Wails

This is the 6th book in the Hollows series. In this episode, Rachel(think Anita Blake meets Stephanie Plumb) finds herself having to travel into the Ever After to help her friends. This was one of my favorite in the series, although my only complaint is that now we have to wait until Spring of 2009 to see what happens to all our favorite characters. The reader is left hanging at the end of the book, guaranteeing that we count the months until we can read about our favorite red-haired witch. Excellent series and very entertaining author. You will fall in love with the characters. A must for science fiction/fantasy/urban fantasy readers.

Hard hitting, fast skating, beer drinking women...who could ask for more??

I purchased this product because I recently went to watch our local roller derby team, and fell back in love with the sport. I recall watching this program about 5 years ago on A&E, and was excited to see it was now a box set. As I remembered, the show highlighted some of the more popular skaters in the Texas roller derby league. These women were responsible for renewing peoples' interest in the sport. Once popular in the 1970's, it fell from grace as it became more campy and staged. These ladies revamped the sport, bringing it back to audiences without the fake fights, making it a great full-contact, fast skating, hard hitting experience. It's a fun DVD to watch. For all us newbies to the sport, it explains the rules and how you score on the track. The girls are all very interesting and seem like a ton of fun off the track. Very good addition to your collection if you crave roller derby. I am lucky enough to have a local team to support, but like to watch this during the off season.
