Very enjoyable ---and "speedy ". It was not on the table for too long .
Lovely subject, with plenty of colour. The pieces were easy to handle and showed details well.
We completed it within a few hours on a wet and dull Sunday afternoon !

Bought them for my g'daughter, & loved them so much had to buy some for me too !
1 of 1 found this helpful Easy for children to handle, and also for adults who may have difficulty with their grip. They are useful for sketching and the ability to then turn them into paintings , by adding a wet brush , can be really creative. the range of colours is good and they can be blended to extend the range.

Tony sounds different when reading---almost as though he's bored by the content
Having read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it, some while ago, I really looked forward to hearing it , whilst doing my painting. It was tedious listening, and the piano interludes were irritating---was that Tony playing ? No wonder he hid himself in the Pyranees , if that was the case .
Tony read without any audible humour---if he was relaying, in person, an amusing event that had happened to him , surely there would be the odd giggle or chortle to make it a pleasure that could make the listener feel included. Perhaps it was the shortening of the book that cut back on the feeling that the whole project had been quite an experience for him.
