Aguri Car GT720 DVR portable sat nav with Wi-Fi and built-in Dash Cam

    Android and easy-peasy!
So quick and simple to use the basic navigation and video functions but after spending a little time reading the manual this SatNav is even better than I'd expected. Without paying mega-bucks I wanted a combined SatNav and Dashcam. But so much more than just two combined devices this is basically a 7" android tablet with a very decent quality camera. I've set mine to start recording as soon as it's switched on and although I've not used it at night yet, the picture is certainly sharp enough to pick out potential hazards and the number plates of vehicles ahead of me and at side junctions during full daylight and late evenings. It has a very good arc of view and multiple mounting options are included in the box. By default the video is stored in 3-minute loops on the micro-SD card which is also supplied with the SatNav. If I'm ever in an accident or I am a witness to an incident of dangerous driving, then this will go a long way to saving my No Claims Discount (or maybe help the police with their enquiries)! Besides being able to set 'Home' and 'Work' there are 150 spaces for other favourite destinations. You can find destinations by address, postcode, Place of Interest name, and has four different types of co-ordinate settings. Download the free Aguri Navigation app from Google Play store and updates to the software and maps are as easy as any other application anyone might want to install; all can be loaded and updated with Wi-Fi. By tethering a Android/iPhone smartphone it's possible to take advantage of current Live Traffic and mobile Speed Traps. Again this isn't something I've tried yet so I can't say how much of my data allowance that might use. All-in-all this is by far the best and most versatile SatNav I've ever used.
