Headset itself is fine, wrong item name and bad left controller
1 of 1 found this helpful I’m just gonna start this off by saying I very much enjoy this product and it has been a lot of fun so far.
It has worked (mostly) well so far.
However I cannot recommend this product. First of all, the left controller will often just stop working. This can obviously be very obnoxious. On a more minor note, the batteries were nearly dead when this arrived, and the headset did not appear to be cleaned well (dusty headset and some kinda sticky gunk on the hdmi and usb) which worried me upon opening the box it arrived in.
And now for my biggest concern: under ‘item specifics’ the model is labeled as ‘Samsung odyssey+ (I have a screenshot of this in case it is changed) This item is the Original odyssey, not the odyssey+. Since both versions look nearly identical, I thought this was the newer version. I know I’m partly to blame because I could have just searched the product ID, but I really don’t appreciate that’s the model name was wrong.
