A definite improvement.

I had a much earlier iteration of this device and it finally died. It was never properly calibrated to humidity, but I figured it out and it kept my cigars in good shape. I have a Daniel Marshall humidor and it allows the Excel to work it's magic beautifully. I purchased the new version of this, tho I have no intention of hooking it to wifi. Had it for about two weeks. It allows calibration to humidity, though not temperature. And it was off by about 2%, which isn't bad. It maintains humidity in the humidor beautifully and is very quiet vs. the old version. A definite improvement. The controls are easy to use. Note that there are not detailed instructions in the box. Need to go on line to access those. Just enough to get started. Not a problem for me. Less paper. I would definitely recommend this with the caveat that I didn't use the wifi set up. Durability remains to be seen......

Usual Warne quality…excellent.

Fits perfectly and goes on easily. The front base slightly extends over the ejection port. I called Warne and asked about this. They said this is the proper fit. It did NOT interfere with the cycling of live cartridges when I tested it. They eject properly. I use Warne fixed rings and they mounted perfectly as well.
