Great little (versitile) speaker
1 of 1 found this helpful I initially bought 2 new insignia bluetooth speakers at the end of March. I like them so much that I purchased others (used) as gifts because they work very well as a tableside audio source and prove how well a speakerphone can improve your phone call hearing being understood on the other end. For those looking to "test" their need for an item like this, you can't go wrong for the price. Should you be tempted to get louder, want more bass (fill up a room), check out the many quality high price speakers on the market. You still may want to use this little insignia gem part or most of the time. I recommend it highly.

Don't last long
3 of 3 found this helpful I suspect the 9800mAh rating is inflated. These batteries don't last as long as the 4000mAh batteries I bought 2+ years ago! Otherwise the charged well and work for an hour or so!

Great sound and versitlity for minimum $'s
I like the features of this speaker (especially the power bank feature) but it turned out to be a little more "worn" than I expected. Cuts / kicks (tiny notches) in the leading edge of the rubberized case are a distraction (although if you only see it from a distance, you may not notice). Since I use it close up (as a personal, nearby, phone call answering device), the fact that the speaker provides better, clearer audio than my phones' speakerphone, I rely heavily on this better way to hear and be heard on the other end. (My Samsung Galaxy S5 has been terrible regarding the issues mentioned above). I also like being able to pause, advance or repeat tunes from my playlist or adjust the volume. I know I can spend more for room filling sound or substantial base but there are times when this speaker is appropriate for the situation or circumstance. I really like the design and feel. One possible improvement would be to allow two speakers (to be used in concert) to act as left and right channel but then maybe a similar product (keeping all the good features) could increase footprint and speaker size, without breaking the bank. Needless to say, I think this speaker has great features and versitlity given its entry level price.
